I am no legal expert but naturalizing him is very much possible.
section 15 paragraph 2 of the universal declaration of human rights states that "no one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his nationality nor denied the right to change his nationality.
rest assured that international laws support this idea of changing your nationality more than once.
as per our local laws, i am happy to report that having been naturalized before is not one of the disqualifications for obtaining filipino citizenship. so there....
So there..I think Chris Alexander is very much eligible for naturalization..I think we should contact this guy just in case our present import doesn't work out.
We really need a second naturalization prospect. Douthit is hurt. Chris Alexander is a good candidate. If our naturalized player (if ever) gets injured close to the FIBA-Asia olympic qualifier, we can kiss our olympic hopes good bye. If only FIBA would allow its member countries to use, two naturalized players to play on the floor one at a time. An appeal of this kind is worth considering.
NCC got Jeff Moore, Dennis Still, Arthur Engelland and they proved to be very competitive even claiming back the asian crown. I think, we just need two big men......preferably 7-footers....![]()

He was drafted in the second round by the sac kings...he was projected as a top 15 pick by some of the mock drafts, his new teammate is cousins and former teammate of lutz. maybe SBP can coordinate with his agent and the sacramento kings management. say...let him play overseas (smart gilas) for 2 or 3 years to develop.
why him? good rebounder and shot blocker...great upside. and if i'm the kings i would concentrate on cousins and let whiteside develop overseas without eating some cap space and giving $$$. they will still have his rights though...
He was drafted in the 2nd round so that means he doesn't have a guaranteed contract.. And we have Lutz (his former teammate) to help in the process.. It's possible but i still think this one is a longshot..
