Chris Alexander can be naturalized again

Chris Alexander can be naturalized again

I am no legal expert but naturalizing him is very much possible.

section 15 paragraph 2 of the universal declaration of human rights states that "no one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his nationality nor denied the right to change his nationality.

rest assured that international laws support this idea of changing your nationality more than once.

as per our local laws, i am happy to report that having been naturalized before is not one of the disqualifications for obtaining filipino citizenship. so there....

So there..I think Chris Alexander is very much eligible for naturalization..I think we should contact this guy just in case our present import doesn't work out.

We really need a second naturalization prospect. Douthit is hurt. Chris Alexander is a good candidate. If our naturalized player (if ever) gets injured close to the FIBA-Asia olympic qualifier, we can kiss our olympic hopes good bye. If only FIBA would allow its member countries to use, two naturalized players to play on the floor one at a time. An appeal of this kind is worth considering.

NCC got Jeff Moore, Dennis Still, Arthur Engelland and they proved to be very competitive even claiming back the asian crown. I think, we just need two big men......preferably 7-footers....;)

What is this uaap?:D Honestly I think it is destroying the concept of a national team more importantly a national team program even we go to london majority of the billion people watching it(casual bball fans) that the team is bannered by americans,

I think if the SBP would go looking for backup, they'll probably look for a younger buck.

Well, we're not actually Qatar fielding mostly africans....:D;) I was just saying if it was possible then at least we can have two tall naturalized centers (not more than) and other countries can do so too or whatever they need to improve their level of competitiveness but there should be limitations.

If we did qualify for London, I just want to see our national team put up a decent game with those big guys out there.

About the UAAP, I don`t have any idea of what`s going on.....:p;)

I agree with having 2 naturalized players for our NT BUT not to be fielded at the same time. 1 will be as back up if ever the 1st guy is injured...or we can alternate them for different tournaments.

Hassan Whiteside

Hassan Whiteside

He was drafted in the second round by the sac kings...he was projected as a top 15 pick by some of the mock drafts, his new teammate is cousins and former teammate of lutz. maybe SBP can coordinate with his agent and the sacramento kings management. say...let him play overseas (smart gilas) for 2 or 3 years to develop.

why him? good rebounder and shot blocker...great upside. and if i'm the kings i would concentrate on cousins and let whiteside develop overseas without eating some cap space and giving $$$. they will still have his rights though...

He was drafted in the 2nd round so that means he doesn't have a guaranteed contract.. And we have Lutz (his former teammate) to help in the process.. It's possible but i still think this one is a longshot..

Long shot indeed...the guy has great upside and if things doesn't work out in the NBA he'll have the D- league. He can play overseas as an import but i doubt if he'll be willing to be naturalized

Maybe in the Future.. its not going to happen anytime soon.. Yeah he is friend with Cris Lutz, but the guy is only 19yrs old w/ a lot of upside.. legit 6'11 w/ 7 ft 7 wingspan.. he is a great get in the early 2nd round. 33th pick overall..

IMO we just don't need an import that rebounds, defends, etc.. The other factor is how he makes his teammates better.. Just like how Marcus Douthit does it for Gilas..

urgent

paging the powers that be! if you're really serious on naturalizing douthit, the filing of bills in Congress can now be accepted starting on July 1. 2010 or 3 days from now. pls pls file the bills early so that congress can act on it as soon as possible.. thank you
