He enrolled to Florida University, so all the chances this season Nimrod will play for NCAA's Florida Gators.

hmmm,i think he's in wrong way for his basketball.maybe, florida gators is good but i don t think he will develop his game in there like our prospect enes kanter...

Hapoel Afula signed Center Bamba Fall, SMU graduate. Interesting signing, rear to see such tall players (he is 2.15) in our league, and for such small clubs.

League starts today admits the rumors flying around because of Fanan's case.
BSL day 1
Maccabi Rishon vs. Hapoel Jerusalem (17:30 CET)
Sunday:
Hapoel Holon vs. Hapoel Afula (18:40 CET)
Bnei Hasharon vs. Ironi Ramat Gan (18:45 CET)
Elitsur Netanya vs. Ironi Naharia (18:45 CET)
Maccabi Haifa vs. Maccabi Tel Aviv (18:55 CET)
Monday:
Gilboa/Galil vs. Ironi Ashkelon (20:00 CET)

2 games, 4 top contenders (probably) it's not going to be boring, that's for sure

-Before the Haifa-Maccabi match, I must address the Holon-Afula match.
An AMAZING buzzer beater by Niv berkovic at the last second of OT gave the newcomer its first win of the league. This you gotta see. A one hand almost behind the back shot from near the 3pt line.
-Haifa didn't put much of a fight for maccabi, not a good game by both teams. Didnt saw much of the first half, but Tyler didn't played a all at the 2nd. If his not injured, this is some flop. Jefersson cant score 40 each night, and like I wrote before the start of the season the team needs a dominant point guard.
Maccabi still waiting for Eidson to appear for the season. Other then not much to write about.
-Naharia will fight against relegation. Not much more to add after losing at Netanya by double digits.
-Bnei Hasharon are playing their games this season at Hayovel arena at Herzelia. A home win by 20 isn't a bad way to start the season.
-And a one note before tomorrow match-Tony Gaffney was cut from the the Lakers and is supposed to sign with Gilboa/Galil any day now.

-Richard Robey, last year at Bnei Hasharon, signed for Maccabi Haifa.
Very weird signing, they need a Big men and a Point guard but sign a swingman.

I was wondering what happened to Roby. Yeah, it is definitaly a surprise him being signed by Haifa, they seem to have quiet a few quality swingman (Mizrachi, Pellot-Rosa, and Rich), however they also have decent dept at the post (Jefferson, Kozikaro, Strong and Tyler). I would agree with you on them needing another player at the point (besides Hajaj and ben David).

Tyler is not a factor right now.. kozikaro is definatly not what he used to be, and strong from what i've seen is medicore minus. jefferson is the only real power they have right now in the 4,5 positions (again kozikaro is also but he can't play alot and not what he used to be) and i asume in 10-12 weeks tyler will get alot better but right now they need some big man in the paint, as soon as posible.

What the fuck is going on with Haifa?!
galil/gilboa 101-Maccabi Haifa 66

BSL day 3
Gilboa/Galil 101 Maccabi Haifa 66
Jeremy Tyler got ejected neat the end and wont play next week.
Seems this is the lowest he and his team can go.
Elitsur Netanya 84 Hapoel Afula 79
Bnei Hasharon 65 Ironi Ashkelon 63
Ironi Naharia 80 Ironi Ramat Gan 76
Maccabi Rishon 62 Maccabi Tel Aviv 89
Hapoel Holon 83 Hapoel Jerusalem 85
MVP:Yuval Naimi (Jerusalem)

however they also have decent dept at the post (Jefferson, Kozikaro, Strong and Tyler)
No they don't. Tyler is a none factor, Kozhikaro is a none factor at the offensive game and Strong is just nice 6'11 guy who doesn't have a clue.

-Yariv Yatskan signed for Hapoel Holon. The 34 year sharpshooter signed a contract till the end of the season.
-Tony Gaffney (Gilboa/Galil) suffered a Stress fracture ankle and will probably be out for a month.

Well, Ben Strong has definitaly showns improvement - especially on D. However, it's to soon to see how he will do. Same with Tyler, I can't imagine his game staying this low. From what I've seen, Kozikaro is still a good backup - and a great one cosidering he's Israeli. However, Jefferson is their only offense from the post, I will give you both that.

I still contend they need another true point.

Its not so hard to improve when you are a DivIII player. You cant go any lower.
Still, a waste of import spot that this still needs.
Meanwhile, it appears that Derrick Sharp threw a ball at a local Rishon fan during pregame and may face a disciplinary presiding.

Well he was POY in D3, so he could be worse (a regular D3 player:D).

Maybe if Asbury plays well, they can move Strong to Hapoel Kiryat Tivon to work on his game. He does have potentional and is a good D players (and rebounder, don't really see him as a dominant scorer type).

Sharp? Really? What did the fan say/do?

You really think this lower divisions count for something? Elad Inbar was POY of DIV2 before he returned to Israel, he wasn't even good enough for B.C. Haifa that was relegated and he now plays the third level team, a National league player level at best. Div2 MVP, right?
Sharp? Really? What did the fan say/do?
Protested the whole Fanan saga with signs the likes of "where is my money".

Maccabi without Anderson this game.
am i the only one sees that as a saying like "look mom, no hands" :p
