BSL season 2009-10

All rumors, signings (Other then Maccabi TA and M. Haifa, both with own individuals threads), results and stats of the 2009-10 season-here.
-Effie Birnboim will coach Macabi Rishon. Roy Hagai once again will be his assistant.
-After a long and embarrassing saga, Guy Goodes will stay as Jerusalem head coach for one more year. Oded Kattash, his so called successor for a second, will stay at Gilboa/Galil. So will Forward Dion Dowell.
-Moran Rott and Jerusalem mutually agreed on terminating the player's contract.
-Eli Rabi Will coach a senior men's team for the time, the team being newcomer Hapoel Afula. 41, Rabi is the head coach of the women national team and has coached in the woman's super league for the past years. Trivial info-his wife is Sharon Sasson sister.
-Osman Cisse will not continue at Bnei HaSharon after 4 seasons.
 
The last fancy rumor that Jeremy Tylor may join his buddy Devon Jefferson in Maccabi Haifa.

It may be a hell of the move for Haifa to place themselves on european BBL map :)

Very good thread, IMO.
Moran Rott left Hap. Jerusalem, Guy Goodes remains as head coach.
Rishon want Omar Sneed back.
No Israeli teame, except for Maccabi, was registered, yet, to the Europe cups as well.
 
a few point guard availiable : Moran Rot, Yogev Hohayon, Dror Hagag, Afik nisim, Meir Tapiro. it's a pazzel betwin Jerusalem, Haifa, Hasharon, Rishon, and others.
 
-Lior Lifshitz signed an extension and will continue his career at Hapoel Holon for one more season.
-Dan Shamir and Oren Aharoni signed and head coach and assistant at Bnei HaSharon, respectively.
 
-2008-09 National league MVP Dori Assaf (1.78, 22) returned to his "alma mater" Bnei HaSharon by signing a three year contract.
-Newcomer Elitsur Netanya signed PF Lior Chachmon, last season with Ironi Ramat Gan
-Head Coach Danny Franco will not continue at Hapoel Holon, the team announced.

Any news on the salary? I know he was offered around for around 150k$. Last season he earned around 80k$ in Maccabi Haifa.

What do you think about this player? Is He a very good player for italian league?

Any Ironi Nahariya fans here? I understand they had some financial problems last season. American Ron Lewis is one of my favorite players, he had a good season in his first year in the BSL.

Yeah, he was one of topscorers in league. For next season he already signed with Czech Republic champions Nymburk.

One good performance in five games on a average.
At his best, a euroleague caliber player. Creates very well. Problem is, his best doesn't comes very often, as I wrote...

Yeah, I read where he missed some vital free throws in some games. Yet he also hit clutch shots like the game winner vs Rishon Lezion in week 10 :). Lewis a player who wants the burden of taking the last shot. A 'choker' is certainly not the Lewis we know back in the States. He hit some incredibly clutch shots in college, including one of the most memorable shots in recent NCAA Tournament history.

He had more of missed last shots and free throws then wining ones.
He did however was never hesitant to take that last shot regardless of what was the outcome, no doubt.
