hope he handles the bigs very well.. the young guards should learn how to pass the ball to bigs and get them going. they should take advantage of it and don't be super bwakaw and don't pass the ball to the bigs.

hmmmmnnnn......i'll see some full games of adamson and cksc in yt to study his system:)

Monteverde is the hottest high school coach right now. His 2 teams, Adamson and CKSC, played for a high school championship this past weekend with him sitting out the game. Assistant coaches at both teams called the shots while Monteverde grinned from the sidelines at his end product. Batang Gilas will now have access to all of his recruits which was not open to Mike Oliver. By the way, in the Passarelle program, Adamson was the top dog this year and is the team B for Adamson high school.

Who knows the exact age of Encho Serrano? He is averaging 19.3 points and 8.1 rebounds for Adamson midway through the UAAP Season 79 juniors tournament.

watched yt vid of mapua vs adamson in pssbc 2015 , serrano was with mapua and already very good. Maybe mapua was loaded for 2016 (won 2016 ncaa jrs. championships) that's why he went to adamson.

^ Not possible for Serrano to officially represent Mapua in any league and still play for Adamson the very next year. There is such a thing as residency and the UAAP is a stickler for it. The reverse is true for the NCAA at least for high school. NCAA does not require residency for high school transfer if said player is not transferring from one NCAA school to another. Case in point is the big man of Mapua, he played last season for UPIS before transferring to Mapua this year.

The Serrano i think he is referring to is Justin Serrano.

The SM NBTC is from 12 to 17 March, 2017. MoA. There are Fil-foreign teams from the USA, Canada , Australia and New Zealand

I realize we should respect Michael Kirkness's privacy as it has been mentioned(note that his facebook account is fully public); I'll say let's just not annoy him too much lol.

These vids show much promise.

Imagine a big-bodied stretch 5 who can also bang in the post! Ok ok I'll try to temper our expectations :)

I wish he could be another Arvydas Sabonis :o

i also wish if he could be the 6'11 version of Bong Hawkins Jr.:)

I would prefer this than sabonis. I think a 6'11 bong hawkins will be a big problem for sabonis defensively. a guy who doesn't jump real high but has real good grasp of WHEN to jump AND WHERE to jump.
He also has a good read of TEAM defense and has a very serviceable mid range shot and good low post moves. On top of that, he can also run, pass, and has good FT%. OVERALL, Hawkins have high BBIQ
