i think defensively, Spoelstra is really good-- after all he's a disciple of Riley's tough and grind basketball... However, offensively? Spoelstra would get burned by some of the posters here as he has lots of isolation players, here there and everywhere (it helps of course, that he has two of the top offensive players in the league)
And not sure if you're serious as well 'cause our NT budget would be spent on acquiring his services. And i don't think i am exaggerating here.
Like I said, Miami was a very good executing team BEFORE James and Bosh arrived.. Last season they had a lot of very good set plays even the commentators noticed it when they were in the playoffs if I remember..
Well we afforded Toroman.. I can't see why we can't afford him.. Though Spoeltra I think will be more expensive.. Just my opinion..
But why would Spoelstra leave the NBA now? Even if he gets fired from being a head coach the allure of the NBA is too much to be sacrificed even for a national team... Unless you want it to be a part-time job which won't be as effective...
ADD: What's Toroman's salary anyway? NBA coaches earn about 3-6 million (That's around 120 million pesos, PER YEAR) Can we afford that?
That's just my ideal scenario.. It won't happen now but maybe in the future.. We'll never know but that I'd like to see..
I doubt Toroman receives that much.. I don't think it will even be revealed..
