They are worst than mx3 imo.. poor jack santiago as he didnt have the guys back then..

I could sense the upcoming collapse as early as the start of the 4th quarter. When they erected that double-digit lead, Alab went larong mayaman. Gone was the pressure on the ball carriers. Gone was the sense of purpose on offense. The warning sign for me as when Hubalde took an ill-advised jumper from the elbow with not a single white shirt underneath the basket for the rebound. This team needs to learn to have a killer instinct and not coast when things are easy.

Also, this team needs plays that don't center on Parks. I'm dumbfounded why the focus on offense remains Parks in the perimeter or Domingo in the post. Why not run plays for Carter and Hughes? The imports need to learn to be go-to guys for the team as well, but it looks like Cuan is under orders from Dy to make his boys look good so they can get nice fat PBA contracts come this year's draft (and Dy gets a fat slice of that as well).

True the agent's trying to make their draft stock up

You cant blame him from the one who manage the contract of players to the one giving salary on them.. also the price of imports arent cheap at least package deal ang lee bros..

And this is good for the development of parks..as for acuna and cawaling just dont take shots even barangay coach in larong labas wouldnt even want you to take..need to be in the scheme of things defensively if they wanted to be back in the pba..

Not really mad about the loss as really the breaks of thegame didnt go to alab in the end, but again the long term goal of guys like Acuna, Cawaling, Fortuna, Hubalde et al is to return to the pba, is not only Ray Parks is the one you are developing here..

i doubt mahindra will get any of alab pilipinas players with the exemption of parks jr. and domingo.

1 year in d-league whew..

50 k nman sweldo sa dleague unless(Even Mo tautuaa palyed in D league).. he receives more..Thats why I dont believe Statham paers are good as he even manage to play in Dele League and Republica cup..

Just like bricksman their papers arent there yet..

and again the the abl players arent pushovers, see David Arnold attacking the defense of Parks.. You dont see that with Celiz, Acuna and Cawaling..

sa bagay.. 50k ain't no joke.. PBA might be asking too much papers from fil-foreign players..

oks na yun d league pa lang sinasala na..I really dont want fil shams in the league, sometimes the agents are the one forcing them, if the players have the papers they need to work on it if they treat it as source of livelihood..

i remember josh urbiztondo.. spent years in pbl just for him to work on the papers then once the papers are complete then he apply na sa PBA.

I fhink the rule is at least one conference.

Another thing I think Cuan was counting on was the fatigue factor. I don't think it's much as a factor as we think. Yes, Saigon usually plays with a 6-man rotation. But remember that the FIBA game is 8 minutes shorter than the pro game. More importantly, the ABL calendar is made such that teams usually play only one game a week. I think the mentality of the shallower teams in the ABL is "go all out for 40 minutes and leave everything on the floor, we have a week to recover anyway."

lol Alab is in a mess.i don't think this team would go further. i think parks doesn't have the qualities of a franchise player. i think everyone is right, Alab is focusing on raising the stock of some certain players. too many one on one.no plays. or is it because the coach is below the standards.way below leo austria threshold.

I am one of the unfortunate people who watched the game live. The organization of the event is horrible. On the way to the gym is a matter of life and death. Was worried that a stampede may happen outside. This one you cannot see on TV.

First time I saw Bobby Ray played live. He has so many baggage in his game, border lining between swag and annoyance/ whining. He is not (yet???) a franchise player as he is not clutch (yet???).

Alab losing to a 9-man Saigon Heat, leading by double digits in the 4th Q is a horrible experience. Mac Cuan, what more can we say. Seems like a barkada gig. His looks rreminds me though of a certain Ramon Magdalo. :p

I doubt they will return to pba, but if ray parks is gone this team will regress alot since he does most of the carrying.
