hats off to gabe for his defense..however, how i wished he could be more offensive minded instead of being his passive self. There were many instances where he could have drove or pull up a jumper. A 6-6 offensive threat is a potent addition to our offensive arsenal. Btw, aside from the dribble drive offense, the ideal composition of our team in the future is acquiring 6-4 to 6-7 players who could play multiple positions like gabe. Pwedeng isabak against the physical west asian teams as well as against the perimeter game of the east asian teams. The likes of parks, ferrer, 6-7 guy from N.u should be in the training pool now....tayo lang yata puro gurang na players while other teams have 20 year olds. The sharpshooting lin from taiwan has been in their pool since he was 19 years old. I remember his game before was all form. Puro porma with matching dunks. Layo na laro niya ngayon compared dati..very economical in his moves and a terrific inside-outside operator.Hay naku, mga self interest ng mga schools .

I think Chinese Taipei also has aging players (players on their late 20's)..but I think some of them were playing for the CT NT since they were 16(some of them If I remember right were a part of the young Chinese Taipei team who went against the Selecta RP team,A series of exhibition match ups where Danny Seigle got injured before the Busan Asian games).I was hoping that Brandon Rosser (Matt's little brother) would be eligible for the national team. He's young,he's 6'8 and he plays the wings and sometimes the power forward position.Parks (6'4),M.Rosser (6'5),B.Rosser(6'8) could play 1-2-3.Just put in Japeth (6'9) and Junmar (6'10) at the 4-5 and that would be a very tall national team. Parks and the two Rosser's can shoot the three's but they are not in the calibre of Taiwan's shooters.Maybe some more practice and a some more tournaments, they can improve a lot more.

Taipei now 5/19 (26%) at the end of 3rd. Wish they shot this way against us :D

They're still up by 2 though.

Yeah... Tseng pushing to get rebounds but the sakuragi and takeuchi getting called for the foul.. Kanina pa ung babae panay favor sa taiwan ang tawag.

I dont think CT can do that everytime. It is just unfortunate for us that they played their best game against us.

if we are dead serious about it then it is better to start now, a cadet pool of 16-25 yrs plus Douthit for a little help and veteran advice to our young players..

We can get AVO, Parks and the rest of the UAAP pa superstars :D

Is Tseng doing his stupid antics again? This guy should get an Oscar and Grammy Award for best actor. He does all the shoving but he's the acting in each bump.

Pingris impersonation of Tseng is still fresh in my head.

hhmmm... this guy sakuragi has patience to do his veteran tricks down low. I had notice that last night against douhthit.

This tseng will run out of gas at 4th quarter.

right now, still no meltdown from japan. still giving a fight and holding on.
