If Teng develops his outside shot like Parks he'll be a beast. Pate has clearly sent a message he's no longer the one dimensional player he used to be.

if we only have a good 6'10 prospect to complement ravena and parks...

kung 16 lang sana si japeth and GS :D

then imo imo ha the only other special player in this team outside parks is

Tolomia:D:D

When is the replay on Solar Tv?

Or can someone be kind enough to post the entire game? :)

I agree with someone here. Our team played nervously during its first game.

IMO we should be in the semis for a chance at a medal.

We could beat any of the teams to be honest.....

lol manu its sbp job to find that raw talent even if it will take outside the national territory;)

9th place is good if you want development becaus eif we snatch a win and get lambasted in 5-8 classification it might lessen their confidence the 4 game winning run of the boys is enough that I thought the RSA in the last game is bad but it turns out to be a blessing as they peak in the so called imo "right time:D"

we have shown "some" of our best young talents, now US NCAA DIV 1 schools, I hope you guys were impressed.

Parks:D:D

the other three are better home grown you do not underestimate a philippine basketball program when developing players:D

sayang, this would have been an opportune time.

i dont think having a frontline of GS, JA, JBall, JF will ever happen again to an RP team.

who would have thought in 2002 that we have a frontline compose of harp menk penissi and Taulava:D:D

we will find a way we will...:D

Parks is a sure thing, though I do hope he gets a starting position on a good school, It would certainly be great if Teng, Pate and Tolomia get invites as well.

I do not want pate and teng to go bench warmers in us ncaa schools they aren't Jet chang/james Yap like players who excels in taking charge ball games they are clones of Mac Baracael :D and will excel in a right philippine college team:D

up next the tag of being the smallest team in paper in asian championships:D:D

correct me If I am wrong sea friends:D

I've told you we are in the group of death. ha ha ha

Good Job boys!!

Congrats!

Hopefully not UAAP especially NU. He will get better with bigger competition in USA than here in our country.

Congrats to the boys for the awesome win! 9th place and we could have gotten higher if not for early game jitters :)

Guys, is it just me or is Jeron Teng better than Jeric Teng? I just find him to be more athletic than Jeric. He's a better scorer, slasher. He's tougher defensively and has a very good handle to boot. If he develops his outside shooting even more, he'd become unguardable.

If we are able to build this current generation of U-18 players we have right now, we might become champions of Asia sooner rather than later. I believe in these kids. They're becoming better and better everyday! Parks, Ravena, Teng, Tolomia, Pate and the rest of the RP boys will show Asia what they're made of come this September's U-18 Tourney! Can't wait!

Having watched our team in this youth olympics, I can't help but notice that being 6'8 or above doesn't always mean you are a dominant rebounder. It's all about proper placing and timing. Heck, you can just tap the ball to your teammate if you can't grab it.
