I'll take it back... I guess SoKor is the biggest obstacle... Japan.. hhhmmm... they're always overrated... I mean Jimmy Alapag and Jayjay H. are way better than Yuta Tabuse anyway... and Sri Lanka?... I don't even think an ambush from them will work...

we have a chance beating Sok Japan and Sri lanka. Once again we are facing Orimo...

Sorry!!!

Its SRI LANKA

Group A
South Korea
Japan
Philippines
Sri Lanka

Hello Orimo! hahaha Asi and Mic really hates Sok remember 2002? hahaha

japan could win group A if the game is held in japan...

lets pray the refs are on our side...

i think their are two group of death this time... group A and C

we will be facing the same japanese team that smart-gilas played a few weeks back..."kalbo" should really eat his pride now and ask toroman for help...

Group C is way better than Group A but anyways Group A is much better than last Fiba asia's group of death...

as I thought a couple of days ago .... the insertion of Chinese-Taipeh would affect the draw ..... we were supposed to be part of the 2nd group of 4 teams to draws lots when Bahrain was still in. It changed with that switch ..... well here we go again ....Dato had a hand on this.

whatever ..... let's still go out and fight

TOROMAN could give a lot of insights about Japan since GILAS trained in Tokyo, do hope Guiao would relent and listen to what Coach Rajko can say.

Eric Obeysekere is a Sri Lankan American basketball player. He was the first person from the Indian subcontinent to be offered a Division 1 scholarship to play men's basketball. At 6'8.5" and with a 7'4" wingspan, he is currently the tallest living Sri Lankan man in the world. Unlike many post players, Eric has a fairly complete offensive game to go with his strong defensive presence, scoring from 20 feet in on a range of jump shots, hook shots, post up moves, finger rolls and dunks. Known as a finesse player, Obeysekere is deceptively strong, has outstanding court vision and runs the open court extremely well.

At Miramonte High School in Orinda, California, Obeysekere is captain of the men's varsity basketball team as a senior. In his junior year he averaged 13.4 points per game, 5.8 blocks per game, and 11 rebounds per game. His senior year he increased his scoring average to 17.5 points a game and averaged 12 rebounds and 5 blocked shots per game. He led his team in scoring, rebounding and blocked shots for the second straight year. [2] He also led the Diablo Foothill Athletic League in blocks for two years straight, holds Miramonte High School's all time block record and per game block record and holds the school's career rebound record. In the summer, Eric plays basketball on the famed Oakland Soldiers Elite AAU team, which has produced over 20 professional basketball players, including LeBron James, Kendrick Perkins and Leon Powe.

After his Junior year, Eric received interest from a number of Division 1 college basketball programs. He choose The College of the Holy Cross in October 2008 due to its storied basketball tradition and strong academic reputation.

Collegiate basketball career

Obeysekere will be playing for the Holy Cross Crusaders men's basketball team.

Here's our chance to erase that bitter defeat. Our players cried over that one.

the best group for me is group C then group B without China and Iran on the groupings of course....this would be a great gauge for the RP team..I know we could beat Japan and Sri Lanka..But I hope we would do our A game with Korea..time to shine boys!! go team Pilipinas!
