We can't do better when we have Bobby Dixon as PG.
He is a hole on D and while the rest of the team trying to cover his defects we haveother problems.
On the other side, we were in a group that all teams except Germany was playing uptempo games and increasing number of shots.
Spain, Serbia and Italy ranks above us pts scored.

The problem with playing Zone vs the French is that they have one of the best passing forwards in the world (Diaw), especially with his back to the basket. So vs zone expect Parker to be a spear which dents in the zone, lots of balls to Diaw and then just kicking it out to Batum, Fouriner, DeColo etc. The bigger nightmare comes in Gobert on offensive boards vs zone.

Well the overtime also helped your PPG as well. You got blown up by us and Spain, with a relaxed second half scored some points. In general noone will pressurize you on D when they are 20+, so the numbers offensively are a bit demented. You are definitely a very average team offensively.
 
Turkey eliminating France on their home court would be similar to what France did to Spain last year. I never saw that coming.
 
Ataman is retarded and mentally challenged on defense. He chooses to zo e France. Wrote about it today bad idea. Batum and Colo already punishing. If they cant keep up their shooting streak it will be GG
 
An early charge by France was expected, Turkey has to weather it and not fall behind double digits.
 
Tony Parker looks awful out there. :eek: He is TUR's best player so far.

You also forgot clearing an easier path for Greece to the finals and an Olympic birth.
 
Well it seems the zone is working right now.France lack of big impact games has a role in this also.Go Turkey!

Well they let in 17 points in first even though france is not pushi g tempo. Zone breaks as the tempo goes up, and shot from outside will come. 3/8 already.

It could be worse, however I'm sceptical or their ways of attacking it. Sometimes seems as if they're trying to play their ussual game no matter that zone.
