The NCAA gave him a lot of reasons to leave IMO. What does Mancom or the NCAA expect? He is basically the best player in the league, and the only award he got was being part of the Mythical 5. I honestly don’t know why he didn’t get the MVP award. Can they explain their decision to give it to Liwag? Hahaha.

Their computation of sp had liwag leading. Which was weird considering he only played 7 games. Apparently as long the minimum number of games was played which is atleast 50%, anyone is eligible.
Personally i also think janti deserved it. And liwag knows it. This should give a chip on his shoulder if he commits to season 102. Prove to everyone he deserved the award and hopefully lead benilde in the finals. Maybe win his 3rd mvp lol.
Only Janti or Titing should've been part of the conversation.

This haha im talking about what they said here. Like whatever they said, its beside the point. When they played, ncaa treated them like royalty. Janti miller was greatly disrespected. You dont do that to anyone you want to be the face of the league.....unless ncaa is really biased against fsa's and filfors lol.
I know the ncaa thing is not the main reason he is leaving san beda, but certainly made things a whole lot easier for him to pack up and go. So in a way you can say ncaa screwed san beda again lmao.

Bias aside. Janti should have been mvp because: A. He lead his team to number 1 seed B. He has the stats to support his campaign and C. San beda is just so much better with him in the court.
Liwag less csb can still win games. Not so sure with janti less san beda since offense really revolved around him in the regular season.
Playoffs was different because yukien and sajonia finally delivered standout performances, while nygel matured right before our eyes.
Haha, that's one of the selling point of CJR when trying to recruit. "In San Beda, you have the potential to be great. You can be the face of the NCAA"

JAnti is too good even sa standards ng UAAP. His target is really to play in the PBA. If the NCAA Mancom didnt screw him in the NCAA finals, there is a small chance Janti could have stayed in Mendiola and apply for the rookie pba draft next year.

Liwag? Yes still has one playing year should he decide to use it. So far all signs point to him coming back. Sanchez i heard is already committed to stay next season.

In 6 games without allen. I think they went 4-2. With the 2 L's coming from 1-2 possessions defeats against arellano and perps. Benilde's system isnt really built around him last season. It mostly starts with the guard play not to mention he had to share the ball alot with umali and was playing hurt. Hope next year they'll feed him the ball more and make his job alot easier in setting him up for better scoring opportunities.

If thats the case he's not finishing his contract with benilde. He made it clear, he's not gonna take 2 jobs simultaneously again haha. Charles should stop dilly dallying and make a decision already. Were already getting left behind in the recruitment wars since last season. If he wants the pba gig then take it already haha. Give a chance to someone else.

Maybe sometimes the mancom knows he's out? Same with Jacob not getting finals mvp. To sort of protect the image of the league in terms of who deserves certain awards. I think even if Janti got rookie-mvp award he's still leaving. Can you imagine the spin, naveen, tiebreakertimes headlines hehe.

It doesn’t matter whether he stays or leaves. What matters is giving credit where it’s due. What the NCAA did to him wasn’t fair, so I think Janti dissing the NCAA is fine. They deserved it anyway. Hahaha.

Jacob had a horrible game 3, they couldn’t give him the award with that performance regardless of what he did the previous games.
Ironically same thing happened in this season’s UAAP finals.
