I'm not really familiar with the International leagues, but are these newly-signed former NBA players already playing for their respective clubs? To gain maximum experience/exposure this summer or start earning money that has stopped coming for them, they have to play now.. They will be disappointed if the NBA season starts only a month delayed, as they should've waited a little bit longer.
