by their poor performance against BGK... they need to have FULL OVERHAUL.
di yan kaya ng "DUKOT". Baba MAKINA na yan!.
hehehehehe!..

umpisahan nyo sa coach!
because your coach is palpak!.... his play is already red by PBA teams.. how much pa in the international... tama si MC47.. their play is only centered to DOUTHIT. they stopped DOUTHIT and ayun talo sila.. because there were no LOCALS that could level PBA standard..
1 player cannot win the game.. its called team work!...

i hope they adjust on game 3....

please dont let me post again negative but motivated post comes wednesday!
:)

Don't stoop to the level of monkey-brained apes. Don't be affected by their illogical criticisms.

agree. this rabid fans have no class at all. i dont intend to discriminate people but i think these fans are living with the "inter-barangay" mindsets - bashing around the coach and the players of the opponent barangay team.

THREE Alaska players and three more from San Miguel, including rookie big man Rabeh Al-Hussaini,
were named to the final rosters of both North and South All-Star teams which will pit skills in the
2011 PBA All-Star Game in Boracay a month from now.

The three Aces voted as reserves by the PBA head coaches are big men Joe Devance and Sonny Thoss and
playmaker L.A. Tenorio , while Al-Hussaini is joined by fellow Beermen Arwind Santos and Alex
Cabagnot.

Al-Hussaini, the year’s No. 2 overall pick and the only freshman to make it to the All-Star line
up, will suit up for the North squad of San Miguel mentor Ato Agustin along with Santos, Cabagnot
and Tenorio.

Devance and Thoss, on the other hand, represent the ‘Twin Tower’ off the bench for the South
All-Stars under Talk `N Text mentor Chot Reyes.

Completing the reserves for the North are Talk `N Text’s frontcourt tandem of Ranidel de Ocampo
and Harvey Carey, along with Meralco hotshot MacMac Cardona.

Perennial All-Star Jimmy Alapag of Talk `N Text, meanwhile, is again suiting up for the South
together with Derby Ace’s Peter June Simon, Meralco veteran center Asi Taulava and the Air21 pair
of Dondon Hontiveros and Danny Seigle.

Voted by fans as starters for North are Mark Pingris, Kerby Raymundo, Mark Caguioa, Willie Miller
and last year’s All-Star MVP Gabe Norwood.

James Yap, Jay Washington, Kelly Williams, Eric Menk and Cyrus Baguio make up the starting unit for
South.

The pro league is holding the annual, mid-season spectacle on the island of Boracay for the first
time, in partnership with Cre8 Events Asia under president Carlo Quevada.

This developed as the league also announced the lineup for the Rookies versus Sophomores Blitz Game,
and the participants in the slam dunk, three-point shootout and obstacle challenge side events.

No. 1 overall rookie pick Noy Baclao banners the freshmen selection, where he is joined by Rey
Guevarra, Elmer Espiritu, Rob Labagala, Hans Thiele, Josh Vanlandingham, Shawn Weinstein and John
Wilson.

Josh Urbiztondo and Chris Ross will be at the helm of the sophomore team and will have for teammates
Francis Allera, Marcy Arellano, Jervy Cruz, Gerwin Gaco, Emerson Oreta.

Third year pro Larry Rodriguez has been named to augment the Sophomores team replacing the injured
Rico Maierhofer.

KG Canaleta won’t be around for a shot at a fifth PBA slam dunk title, and out to displace him
from his throne are some of the league’s certified high-flyers in Norwood, JC Intal, Ronald Tubid,
Washington, Espiritu, a former PBL ‘slam’ titleholder, Guevarra, and former champion Williams.

Mark Macapagal goes for a back-to-back three-point shootout titles as he defends his crown against
deadly gunners Alapag, Cardona, Devance, Hontiveros, Tubid, Ronjay Buenafe, Sunday Salvacion and
James Yap.

Jonas Villanueva also tries to do the same in the Obstacle Challenge where he will be tested to the
hilt by Alapag, Buenafe, Cabagnot, Miller, Ross, Tenorio, Urbiztondo and Gary David.

Four-time league MVP Alvin Patrimonio will team up with Agustin and Allan Caidic to challenge the
top three finishers of the 3-point shootout in the equally interesting Legends Shootout that will
serve as appetizer to the All-Star Game on All-Star Sunday.

as I said I have no problem if you are a lick-ass fan of Ginebra

My problem was when the superstar players of Ginebra are not playing the way they should be. I just dont like them to be like stupid lazy freeloaders and be a disgrace to the Ginebra name.

I felt the dispair that Caguiao and Hatfield were in when they want to play like the Ginebra of old and the others were doing nothing.

But I still will say this without Brumfield this present Ginebra team would not be able to beat even Powerade unless they all stop playing prima donnas, good thing Caguiao is willing the team to victory with Hatfield, Labagala and to a certain extent Tubid as to the rest especially Miller they are not performing at full-trottle.

If they perform at their full potential, they are capable of winning by a mile with an exceptional import like Nate Brumfield who is to me the best of these batch of imports.

Pre .... look outside the box.

The venue is actually the long white sand beach front of Boracay itself .....

I like the innovation, its sort of a reward vacation for all the PBA Stars.

Ginebra mentor Uichico, 2 other players fined

Barangay Ginebra coach Jong Uichico, known as a mild-mannered gentleman inside the court, and two more players were meted a fine each by Philippine Basketball Association commissioner Atty. Chito Salud...

...in separate incidents of the two play dates in the ongoing PBA Commissioner's Cup best-of-five series.

On Monday, Salud slapped Uichico the heaviest fine of P30,000 for his rare public outburst during an interview before the start of the second period of Game 2 of the Gin Kings' semifinals encounter against the Pilipinas-Smart Gilas squad.

Uichico was also given a technical foul in each of the two games, which cost him an additional fine of P2,600.

Ginebra guard Mark Caguioa was also penalized for throwing his forearm on the nape of Gilas' Marcio Lassiter resulting to a Flagrant Foul Penalty 2. He was meted a P10,000 fine.

But Caguio was also assessed a P5,000 fine for tripping Gilas guard JV Casio in a separate incident.

Gilas' naturalized player Marcus Douthit was fined P10,000 for violating the landing spot rule resulting to a contact.

"We imposed the fine upon review of the game. I know this is the first time Coach Jong did such a thing and it's quite understandable that under such circumstances, it can happen, especially when the stakes are getting higher," said Salud in a telephone interview.

Uichico told GMA News he is still not aware of the fine impose don him by the PBA Commissioner's Office, but he admitted his mistake in his rare public outburst.

"I know there's a fine on what I did, but I am still not aware of it," said Uichico in a telephone interview. "But things like that happen and it happened in a spur of a moment because of the nature of the game."

"But if there's one thing which surprised me, it's the trend on the physicality of the game every time Smart Gilas plays," added Uichico. "How come a least fouling team like Smart Gilas always play in a physical game? It doesn't make sense."

The Gin Kings are just a win away from reaching the finals and they can close out the series and score a rare sweep in the race-to-three series with a win in Wednesday's Game 3.
