And if you don't understand (I doubt that, but still), he was talking about that Real was given a ball after Lasme's rebound (he didn't step outside). After that shot clock started to work 2-3 seconds later than it should have. After that, Hansen clearly stepped on the line when throwing so-called 3point shot...
you don't have a TV?

3 seconds? why not an hour? and the game should have been stopped, actually, when they fouled Garbajosa.

They didn't, and yes it was 2-3 seconds before the clock started to run. Garbajosa is a huge baby, i expected a bit more respect, not the rival and not to the refs but to himself, crying about the refs when actually they saved them and closed Real's paint even better then Real's big men.

I understand you guys don't like to accept it but don't try to reverse the facts. Truth is Real was the better team during the whole game. and truth is refs awarded two free throws to Maccabi to win the game. -but weren't that generous on Llull's last play-. that's what happened and me and you can do nothing to change it.

That's your twisted truth, yes Real was better offensively in the first 2 and a half quarters, but on defense maccabi was better all game long, there was an obvious foul on Anderson in the last play.. and there was obviously no foul on Llull, even Llull himself didn't cry for a foul like you are doing now.
FACE IT we beat you, your fancy coach, your 2.5 times bigger budget and your lame fans. the only one i was sad for is Raul.

yeah, whatever.

you have no answer for one reason: you know i'm right. enjoy your huge failing project in the spanish league cuz after 3 games vs. barca you'll be out for this season from the euroleague
If we aren't going to beat Barça it doesn't really matter if we lose now or in the final. This result doesn't matter for Maccabi either, since they probably can't beat any of the playoff teams anyway.

You should take care of your huge defeats coming up against Barcelona, we will take care of our Quarter final against Partizan, with home advantage. Maccabi can't beat any of the playoff teams? well than i guess Real is MAX first group stage team, after all we beat em twice didn't we? :p

Lull last play was just plain stupid : it was like 4.5 sec to go, yet he decided to dribble his way instead of giving a pass to open Hanson to save a couple seconds

The biggest surprise for me is Messina's performance : I don't remember how he wasted all his time-outs , but the fact that he was unable to do a shit at the most important attack of the whole season amuses me

Messina's subs is another story. Putting aside the fact that he completely killed Real's momentum with +16, when he substituted bench warmers we rarely see even in ACB (Vidal ) and instead of icing the outcome, he allowed MTA to narrow the gap. The moment when Messina completely lose the game, in my view , was the moment in the middle of 4th quarter when he benched his best clutch player Llull after 2 missed FT and TO of 8 seconds. Sergio looked really pissed off on the bench and when he got back he missed 2-3 clutch three-pointers that allowed MTA to get a lead and put the tonnes of pressure on Real players.

Compare him to Gershon : Perkins come from the bench in the previous game against Siena and made 2 consecutive and very stupid TOs , but Pini never bench a key player when he's down and in a couple of minutes his trust paid off : not only Perkins shot down TMac, he was also responsible for almost all points in offense in that quarter.

Garbajosa is another story, he was a great player once, but now he looks like a snail on vacation: he's sooooo sloooow .... Bluth scored 2-3 clutch points in the end of 4th just because Garbajosa who guarded him was a waaay behind in almost every MTA fast-break

The fact that now Jorge's bitching about the refs is priceless , if he's looking for somebody to blame for a loss, maybe he should check the mirror ? :D

Real madrid must shut up. At spanish league and some euroleague games they get some help from refs. But is funny too to see a Pao Fan speaking abot the helps over "spanish comedian actors". Obviusly pao never gets help from refs:cool:

Not against Spanish teams though...

As a neutral fan that watched only the last 12-13 mins of Real Madrid-Maccabi I can say that Maccabi was clearly better in defense at that period and made crucial shots down the stretch. But if we look at numbers, the claim that Real was better throughout the game because they led 4 most of the time is simply inaccurate. As I wrote yesterday, Maccabi was better in almost every statistic category. They shot better in 2p shots, they drew more fouls and shot FTs with a higher pct, they collected more rebounds(11 if I recall well), including more offensive ones(especially Lasme did a lot of damage with these rebounds in the 4th quarter) and committed less TOs. All these imply that Maccabi was the better team in court. All Real had 2 put against this was their long range shooting, which gave them the lead in the first half(I think they had 6/11 3p).
In the first half Maccabi was probably worse, as they only scored 21 points! But overall I can't c how Real deserved 2 win this match when they couldn't hit a big shot(with the exception of Hansen's game-tying shot), when Maccabi played better defense, when they couldn't control the rebounds in their own key and when they were worse in almost every statistical category.

It's hard to believe, but this play is now officially #4 of "Top 16 Week-6 Top Ten" :D

Jesus may be able turn a water into wine, but could he stop the time and make 10 sec play in 5 sec , not to mention turning a two-pointer into three-pointer?

Behold the new miracle of Palacio Vistalegre :p

Wellcome to the euroleague :D they don't just don't fix their mistakes, they also promote them :p I think it's the first time a referee play is getting to the top 10

:D I didn't mean it this way, but you know, With all the respect to partizan it's better to get partizan with home ad. Than barca without it :p

That's for sure. Same here: No Oly, Barca, Pao, CSKA to stop us now ;)

you are so dumb it's not even funny. the game clock starts running when any player touches the ball, the 24 shot clock only starts when a player is in control of the ball.

That's more than enough time for Llull to make a layup, the guy didn't know the game was rigged.

I sit here and can't stop laughing, how PATHETIC! Real fan cries about a game rigged, and even funnier, after the refs, if helped any team helped Real! hahahaha please, continue.
BTW i hope you got this big fat ass ready to be kicked by your number one rival, and i hope your ego and pride has done the same preparations as well :p:D
