Ivkovic, Teodosic, Bjelica & Erceg... and you call that a greek team? :p

Lester Hudson to Aris ?

Whats the source for that? If its sport24 then heh:D

Kolossos inked montenegrian Nikola Ivanovic(1.99) for 3 years.

Panellinios wants Savvas Iliadis........

Are you sure? sounds like a bad joke.. the guy used to be great a few years ago when he was young and fast but he has the mentality of a teenage streetballer and he is now 31..

Kalambokis i can understand.

Panathinaikos to sign the next big thing(according to his agent:p) of greek basketball, Alfa Agkimpou Ntiallo Fasengas. His father is Greek his mother comes from Guinea.. i think the french one.. not entirely sure.

His height is the talk of urban legend:D. He is 18 yrs old, between 2.08 and 2.10 and his wingspan is 227.

Thats 6'10''-6.11'' height and 7'5'' wingspan for our metric-system-impaired friends:D

He was discovered about a year ago in the city of Larissa by his agent and he only started playing basketball back then..

He will be playing his first ever basketball games(maybe) with the greek NT u-18

Is Milos Teodosic going back to Olympiacos a sure thing? Anyone have knowledge about his contract?

he never left, has another 2 years left in his contract...

His contract is like those in NBA with restricted free agents.

If someone wants to get him he has to pay a clause of 1.3m.euros to oly, and offer a contract to milos that oly won't match.

Rumours in Greece say that Olympiakos is close to signing thomas Kelati (this time for real :p) and also langdon but he is expensive. Concerning a tall guy, because andersen and n'dong cases are difficult they are now turning to Archibald.

Panathinaikos is very close to signing Schortsianitis since olympiakos are not interested in him. He will get 4.1 millions for 3 years (1.36mil/year) a bit overpriced imo but a good player though. initially it was rumoured that he wanted 1.5/year.

If they want Maric maybe we can make some discount... :p

Seems that Jaycee Carroll would stay in Gran Canaria and won't play in Maccabi. He had serious negotiations with Maccabi but the team "forgot" that he has a valid contract in Gran Canaria.

LOL Maccabi even can't sign Carroll? what is Maccabi's budget for next year? 1 million Euros?
What about Mačvan? signed in Maccabi? LOL:D:D

Not only Carroll. Maccabi can't even sign Guy Goodes as assistant coach due to financial disagreements (he is supposed to receive 100-150 thousand USD...). They are also having problems negotiating with Doron Perkins, that yesterday said that David Blatt told him that he doesn't decide who will play in the team and only can suggest to the management...
I don't know the exact budget of Maccabi, but for sure went down dramatically, although the club income this year is more or less the same as in last year. Something strange is going on there...

A bit overpriced??? LOL.

This guy is not worth more than half a milloin per year, but who cares...

I' am sure but i think that Panellinios will sign him only if agreed to take less money and Papamakarios leave the team...

Kalampokis has a very good offer from Ikaros

they just start to become the old reasonable Maccabi, so no need to panic.
After they did so much bullsh*t in the last years with the hyper-contracts for Arroyo and Gershon, who anyway only stayed for one year each, they finally start to turn the shekel twice before they give it away.
The negotiations with McCalebb and Carroll are not that easy, because they both had magnificent seasons last year, and now expect to be part of the millionaires club...and Gran Canarias demands for Carroll must be highly unreasonable.
And Perkins already traveled throughout the world, in order to earn more and more. I highly respect his skills and personallity, though the word loyalty doesn't seem to be part of his vocabulary. That's why it's so difficult to bring his demands down to earth.
Anyway, now need to panic, MTA has 4 americans and 6 israelis, and there is still plenty of time untill the transfer market will get really hot ;)

It's really all about the press in Israel (like in any other country) which keeps on rabbiting about Maccabi signing Macvan, Eliyahu and Maric and so on. That's never going to happen, because Maccabi never pays a million euro BO and then 1.5 Mill. Euro salary...
