I'm 99.9% percent sure that those players will play and it's all just a part of advertising campaign for the new sponsor - it will obviously get more attention with all the drama (it was the same thing the wild card...).
edit: by '99.9% sure' I mean that I don't think that money will be the issue, other things like injuries could prevent them from playing.

I think either way will be true given that team is having a good game day. Even for our Philippine NT, given a good game day can beat Japan and Korea.

I think it will be. The new basketball rules are not expected to be in effect until October 2010.
