Hello, happy Christmas everyone. Local stores don't work this day in Lithuania and I will eat fast food all day but it is still Christmas!
I saw many people compare Kobe and Jordan. Kobe became youngest player to score 20k points in NBA and some people think that he is better than MJ.

No doubt MJ's still better than KB anymore. Because MJ has smart player, determination, balanced on his statistics than Kobe is only focusing on his score and selfish player.
 
MJ is the best player ever. I don't see better player comming 3 years ahead
 
How many times are we going to go over this comparison? I think the only way we can compare Kobe to Jordan is when Kobe retires and see what his accomplishments are.

Thats why he's youngest player to reaching 20,000 points when he now play 12 seasons unlike MJ's when 9 seasons to reached 20,000 and Wilt Chamberlain's 7 seasons to reached 20,000
 
There is lots of videos on YOUTUBE that compare him to MJ. You guys should search it. Theres alot of good arguements.
 
KB will get there, being up to par with MJ.. But KB can only be compared to MJ after he retires... So far, MJ still is the best..
 
Kobe cannot be compared to MJ. Because unlike Kobe, MJ has no bonifide superstars around him, even Scottie is not a superstar before MJ arrived. And he makes his teammate good. While Kobe will needs a Shaq or Gasol.And MJ is a true clutch time player.
 
how about Dominique Wilkins, Julius Erving and clyde drexler are best.
i mentioning this who are better than lebron
 
Not comparable. Situations quite different, quite different people. one common thing: They want to win it all, whatever it takes, and can score against anybody at anytime in the game.

ps: Scottie Pippen joined the NBA after Jordan... So indeed, he couldn't be a superstar before Jordan arrived.
 
kobe already said during a interview that people need to stop compare him to jordan, he doesnt deserve to be compared to a legend.
 
Finals went a long way showing Kobe shouldn't be compared to Jordan. Still no shame in not being the greatest ever.
 
Well if kobe wasnt that good. People wouldn't compare him to MJ all the time.

I am a kobe fan but i know that MJ is better but NOT that better like some try to put it.
And abt the MVP's, it doesn't identify a player. We all know that every year they pick a player based on a different criteria than the other year. Also Kareem won more MVPs that MJ.

Although Kb's and MJ's eras were a lot different. And kobe came in the league very young and was a bench player for 2 seasons and a starter in the 3rd season just bcoz others players were getting injured all the time.

Its tough to compare those 2 but till now MJ>Kobe and it might stay like this
