Ibn Notes: Juan Antonio San Epifanio was not the most graceful of players, but luckily for the lot of us, that is not always necessary to be successful in basketball.  Epi, as he was known, played 17 seasons for FC Barcelona and is the only Spanish player to have ever competed in four Olympic games.

Juan Antonio San Epifanio was also the final torch-bearer for the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, which would be Epis last Olympics.

Ibn Facts: In a total of 18 seasons at the club Epifanio won the Spanish league title seven times (1981, 1983, 1987-1990, and 1994), the King's Cup 10 times (1978-83, 1987, 1988, 1991, and 1994), the Saporta Cup twice (1985-1986), the Korac Cup once (1987) and the world championship for clubs once (1985).
