Alvertis is the Captain of Panathinaikos and the teams all-time top scorer in the A1. In 1998 he won the clubs first league title since 14 years, repeated that success another 6 times, leading to 7 Greek Championships (1998-2001, 2003-2005).  Fragiskos Alvertis is also the only European player ever to play in 7 Euroleague (or Suproleague) Final-4 tournaments (1994-1996, 2000-2002, 2005), winning it three times (1996, 2000, 2002). In addition he also won four Greek cups (1993, 1996, 2003, 2005) and one Intercontinental title (1996). Alvertis won the 1996 Greek All-Star game 3-point contest and played the 1997, 1999, 2001, 2002 and 2004 Greek All-Star games. He also used to be the Greek National team Captain (until Summer 2005, when he didn’t play in the Greek National team, which won the European Championship and Michalis Kakiouzis became the new Captain) and took part in 5 European Championships (1995 – 2003), 2 Olympic Games (1996 & 2004) and one World Championship (1998).
