Fragiskos Alvertis, Greece![]() Alvertis won the 1996 Greek All-Star game 3-point contest and played the 1997, 1999, 2001, 2002 and 2004 Greek All-Star games. He also used to be the Greek National team Captain (until Summer 2005, when he didn’t play in the Greek National team, which won the European Championship and Michalis Kakiouzis became the new Captain) and took part in 5 European Championships (1995 – 2003), 2 Olympic Games (1996 & 2004) and one World Championship (1998). As a junior player he won the silver medal at the 1991 European Championship for Cadets. |
