  • Andrew Bogut returned in successful fashion last night with 22 points, 15 rebounds, and 4 blocked shots in the Buck’s 100-98 win over the Chicago Bulls. The win snapped Milwaukee’s four-game slide.   • Sergio Rodríguez scored a point per minute Sunday night in the King’s 112-96 win over New Orleans. The 23-year old Spanish point guard set a new career-high in points with 24 points in 24 minutes. After inconsistent minutes and DNPs in the season’s first 13 games, Rodriguez has played 22 minutes per game off the bench in the last four and has responded with 15.25 points, 4.8 assists, and 1.25 steals. The Kings have won three straight.
  • American Pete Mickeal was named Euroleague MVP for the month of November.  Mickeal, who plays for Regal F.C. Barcelona, lead the team to a 3-0 Euroleague record and is the team’s scoring, rebounding and performance index rating.  Mickeal played at Cincinnati and was selected in the 2000 NBA Draft by the Dallas Mavericks. Mickael never played in an NBA game, instead he spent time playing professionally in the ABA, Philippines, Greece, Russia and finally, Spain.
  • Injuries have hit international players hard this year, and this weekend has been no exception as Nenad Krstić (Sore left Achilles’ tendon), Andrei Kirilenko left the game with a strained back, Luis Scola played 22 seconds against Oklahoma City and left the game with an eye injury, and Leandro Barbosa has a sprained left ankle. Scola will miss Wednesday’s game and is listed day-to-day.

  • Serge Ibaka, a 6-10 center from the Congo has been receiving consistent minutes in the last several games for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Outside of one DNP, the first year player that was drafted with the 24th overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft, has averaged 21 minutes in the last five games. Ibaka recorded career highs of 11 points, 13 rebounds, 5 blocks in 31 minutes during the Thunder’s 101-85 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.
