To know when March Madness ends, we have to start at the beginning. It officially kicks off with the Selection Sunday bracket reveals. Then, we get moving with the First Four that goes down in Dayton, Ohio every year for the men’s brackets. Those games get started on March 19th and 20th this year. For the First Four, the lowest four ranked automatic qualifiers to the tournament square off to fill in the 16 lines in two spots in the 64-team bracket. Then, the lowest ranked at-large bids do the same thing for the respective seed line they earn. Then we’re off. March Madness officially ends after the NCAA Men’s basketball championship game that takes place on April 8th, 2024, this year.
