If you didn’t already know, Yao Ming is a very large man. The image below only emphasizes that fact.  In the photo below, Jason Biles, the Houston Rocket’s trainer is working on Yao Ming’s left foot before a game on November 7, 2010.

The Rockets announced that Yao Ming will miss the rest of the season on Friday, Dec. 17, 2010, a day after the injury was found in an MRI exam.

It’s sad that the 7-6 center may have to hang up his size 18 shoes because his height and size had him playing in the NBA.

Team physician Walter Lowe said surgery is the usual treatment for such an injury, which has sidelined Yao since Nov. 10.
