Basketball Injury, Pic of the Day

Pic: Yao Ming is a Very Large Man

If you didn’t already know, Yao Ming is a very large man. The image below only emphasizes that fact.  In the photo below, Jason Biles, the Houston Rocket’s trainer is working on Yao Ming’s left foot before a game on November 7, 2010.

In this file photo taken Nov. 7, 2010, Houston Rockets trainer Jason Biles, left, works on the left foot of center Yao Ming, of China, before the Rockets' NBA basketball game against the Minnesota Timberwolves in Houston. Ming, 30, will miss the rest of the season because of a stress fracture in his left ankle. The Rockets announced the decision Friday, Dec. 17, 2010, a day after the injury was found in an MRI exam. Team physician Walter Lowe said surgery is the usual treatment for such an injury, which has sidelined Yao since Nov. 10.

It’s sad that the 7-6 center may have to hang up his size 18 shoes because his height and size had him playing in the NBA.
