In a interview for ESPN’s Jackie MacMullan Pierce talked about everything ranging from his young days and the way he tries to share the knowledge with Washington’s young stars Bradley Beal and John Wall, the golden years he had in Boston and his not so golden relationship with Ray Allen, to the worst year of his career with the Brooklyn Nets and the way Deron Williams couldn’t handle the media pressure all that well.
