Enes Kanter was a rarity on the free agent market summer. Big guy with offensive skills in the low post and on the perimeter and is still in his early 20s. The only problem with Kanter is that he’s not so comfortable on the defensive end, but when you have Serge Ibaka on your team that’s not so alarming.

Being a restricted free agent Kanter draw attention from several teams, but only the Trail Blazers who previously lost four out of their five starters in free agency (Robin Lopez, LaMarcus Aldridge, Wesley Matthews and Arron Afflalo) decided to make an official qualifying offer worth $70 million over four years. Oklahoma had three days to think about this, but it seems like they’ll match the offer and keep Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook happy.
