The NBA recently revealed the 2024 NBA Cup court designs, unveiling visuals that showcase a unique look for each franchise’s home court during the midseason tournament. These designs are not only meant to elevate the in-game experience but also to highlight each team’s brand identity within the Cup format.
Similar to last season’s tournament, we get some pretty cool home courts for the 2024 edition of the Emirates Cup. There are 30 unique designs (one per team). Group play for the 2024 NBA Cup starts with a double header on November 12th. We get to see the 76ers host the Knicks followed by a Splash Brothers reunion when the Mavs host the Warriors in the Night Cap.
The colors, team logos, and custom patterns are crafted to distinguish NBA Cup games from the regular season, creating a memorable atmosphere for fans both in-arena and at home. As these court designs gain widespread attention online, the NBA also incorporates tech such as an AI detector for tracking and analyzing social media reactions, helping gauge fan engagement levels and excitement around the Cup.
NBA Cup Court Designs for 2024
So, the NBA Cup Court designs for 2024 are out. During Cup nights (Tuesdays and Fridays for most of November), the courts will be used by the home teams. Victor Solomon designed the courts for the NBA. They are going to be used during group play and the Cup Quarterfinals (we head to Vegas for the semifinals and championship). Even better, is the court colors were picked to contrast with the home team’s uniforms for the game(s). The court designs were done in collaboration with the home teams.
