March Madness Schedule for 2014
No matter which college team you’re rooting for, you will need to know what is happening when so you can be sure to catch as many games as possible over the next couple weeks. I give to you the schedule for the 2014 NCAA College Basketball Tournament:
1st Round: March 18-19 (Tuesday-Wednesday)
Played in Dayton, Ohio, the first round of the NCAA Tournament is commonly called the ‘play-in’ games, as eight teams fight for four spots in the round of 64. While most pools and bracket contests don’t include these games, they still can provide the classic March drama that you are used to.
*Where to Watch on TV: All the play-in games will be televised by TruTV – one of the sponsors of the tournament. Go to the full March Madness TV schedule.
2nd Round: March 20-21 (Thursday-Friday)
With 32 games in just two days, the field will be cut in half Hunger Games-style during two of the most exciting days of basketball. The games will be played in 8 Locations around the country. The first day of games will be in Buffalo, Milwaukee, Orlando, and Spokane. The second day’s locations will be in Raleigh, San Antonio, San Diego, St. Louis.
The second round of the NCAA tournament is always the most-exciting round with at least a couple stunning upsets, and if we’re lucky we’ll have more upsets during these first two days.
