The details of the deal haven’t been disclosed yet, but it seems like the presence of Karl-Anthony Towns and some other talented big man like Adreian Payne, Gorgui Dieng and Shabazz Muhammad impacted Garnetts’ decision. The Timberwolves now have one of the most talented rosters in the NBA that also features experienced players in the likes of Garnett, Kevin Martin and Nikola Pekovic.
