Yes, Marvel just released an official Avengers: Endgame ‘Portals’ music video from Endgame soundtrack

Six weeks after the release of Avengers: Endgame, the hits keep on coming for the penultimate chapter of the Infinity Saga. Just last week we learned that the Endgame Blue-Ray is coming out in a couple months and Endgame may surpass Avatar as the highest-grossing film of all-time.

Now Marvel has officially released a music video for one of the songs from the Endgame soundtrack. The song they released is “Portals” which, if you saw the movie, you know what that means.

“On Your Left”

If you don’t, the score begins when magic portals started opening up re-introducing the snapped-away characters that were dusted during last year’s Infinity War. The song continues though the Captain America’s first uttering of “Avengers Assemble” and throughout epic battle royale at the end of the 3 hour culmination of the 22 MCU movies.

“Portals” was written and composed by Alan Silvestri and helped the soundtrack to jump to #1 on Classic FM. Now we have the official music set to images of the film. We now have a companion piece to all the audience reaction videos. Check it below.

Even though it’s just a bunch of images and not quite like watching the film, it does help one to relive the emotions felt during scene that collectively put America in their feelings. Here’s what Marvel had to say in their official press release of the Portals music video:

We’re proud to debut the music video for the standout score cue, “Portals,” composed by Oscar®-nominated and GRAMMY® and EMMY® award-winning composer Alan Silvestri, off the Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame original movie soundtrack. Watch the music video below, and download and/or stream the Avengers: Endgame soundtrack on your favorite audio service.

Directors Joe and Anthony Russo compared Silvestri to the Beatles, saying this “(Silvestri) has created some of the most memorable film music of all time. Alan Silvestri’s artistry has made ‘Avengers: Endgame’ a much more soulful, entertaining and resonant experience, and his music has inspired the movie from its inception.”

High praise. And in the world of movie scores, Alan Silvestri deserves that comparison having created the scores for iconic films like “Back to the Future (1985)”, “Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988)”, “Father of the Bride (1991)”, “The Bodyguard (1992)”, “Judgement Night (1993)”, Oscar-winning “Forrest Gump (1994)”, “Contact (1997)”, “The Parent Trap (1998)”, “Cast Away (2000)”, “Night at the Museum (2006)”, Marvel’s “The Avengers (2012)”, and “Infinity War (2018)”.

We’ll see if Silvestri can add to his trophy case with “Portals” from Avengers: Endgame.
