History of NCAA Men’s Bracket Champions

Since the tournament first started in 1939, UCLA has the most men’s championships of any team with 11 NCAA titles followed by the the University of Kentucky with eight national championships. The University of North Carolina is in third place with six titles in the Men’s D1 field.

In 2018, none of these blue bloods were ranked in the top ten at the end of this season, so the Bruins, Wildcats and Tarheels not really considered as favorite for this year’s tournament. History aside, it’s always interesting to see which men’s team will get crowned as the NCAA’s national champion come April.
