The 2024 NBA Summer League is scheduled to take place from July 12th-22nd, 2024. This is the first time that fans and the teams will get to see the 2024 NBA Draft picks play competitive, pro games. This summer’s league is formally known as the NBA 2K25 Summer League and is taking place in Las Vegas. We also have two smaller, regional leagues that don’t have as many teams occurring earlier in July. These are the California Classic and Salt Lake City Summer Leagues.
Who Plays in the 2024 NBA Summer League?
The Las Vegas Summer League is the big one. If you mention the 2024 NBA Summer League, this is what most people are referring to since all of the teams participate in it (since 2018). Now, your favorite rookie might not play in all of the games. Injuries and player development have a vote spending on the situation, player, and team.
The MVP list for the Summer League has seen a number of NBA stars to include Damion Lillard, John Wall, Davion Mitchell, and Keegan Murray over the years. Once the 2024 NBA Draft is complete, we’ll get an idea of which new stars we’ll see play on which teams. We’ll also get our first glance at how strong or weak this draft class is too.
2024 NBA Summer League Schedule
The 2024 NBA Summer League schedule kicks off with the California Classic. The California Classic games go down July 6-7, and 9-10, 2024 in Sacramento and San Francisco at the Golden1 Center and Chase Center respectively. This league features at least one of the NBA’s franchises from the West Coast — Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Clipper, Los Angeles Lakers, or the Sacramento Kings.

We also see the Salt Lake City Summer League between July 8th-10th, 2024 before NBA 2K25 kicks off on July 12th. The Salt Lake City Summer League schedule takes place July 8th through 10th, 2024. It is held at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City. The teams playing in Salt Lake this season include: the Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzlies, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Philadelphia 76ers.

NBA2K25 Schedule
The NBA2K25 Summer League schedule takes place from July 12th through 20th, 2024. There will be a total of 76 games played this year. All of the NBA teams are playing in the 18th iteration of the event. The games are played at the Cox Pavilion and the Thomas and Mack Center in Paradise, Nevada. Each team plays at least five games. The first four are between July 12-20th. After this, the top four teams move to a semifinal game on July 21st and a championship game on the 22nd. The teams who don’t make the tournament play a fifth, consolation game on July 20th or 21st. Once we have matchup details and game times, we’ll let you know.
