Brazil made it through the Group Stage with a 2-1 record and move on to the knockout round where they will face the overwhelming favorites of the Olympic tournament bracket: The United States. Team Brazil had to win one of the Olympic qualifying tournaments to earn a spot in Paris. They went 2-1 and made it. They dropped the first game in the OQT to Cameroon 74-77. Then, they beat the Philippines on July 6th, 71-60. On the 7th, they handled Latvia, 94-69 and are playing in the Olympics. Brazil is the team having the ninth best (out of 12) odds to win the Gold medal in the 2024 games. They did not play any additional friendlies or exhibitions before the Paris Games.
