We’ll see Gerald Green dunking in a Miami Heat jersey next season

Gerald Green has emerged as one of the most electrifying small forwards in the league after his breakout season with the Phoenix Suns couple of years back. Aged 29 Green is now an experienced veteran with overseas experience, who managed to overcome basketball IQ issues and signed a one year contract with the Miami Heat where he’ll serve team’s rotation backing up Luol Deng at the 3, Dwyane Wade at the 2 and maybe even Chris Bosh at the 4 if some small ball is played.

Other details of the deal haven’t been published yet, but it seems like this will be one of the many deals affected by the change in cap space that happened yesterday. This is the third move the Heat have made during free agency this summer, after managing to resign Dwyane Wade and Goran Dragic at the end of June. Justise Winslow is also a great addition to the team and we’ll seem fight for minutes with Green during the season.
