Nikola Milutinov promising hidden second round draft pick

Nikola Milutinov is a 20 year old 7 footer from Serbia who played his entire professional career at Partizan, one of two best Serbian league teams, and managed to win the Serbian first league (2014 and 2013) and the Adriatic League (2013). He was also a part of the 2013 U19 Serbian national team that won the silver medal at the 2013 U19 World Championship.

In those finals Serbia lost to the United States team that featured players like Elfrid Payton, Jahil Okafor, Marcus Smart, and Aaron Gordon. Nikola Milutinov, then 18 year old, scored 7 point and grabbed 6 rebounds in 25 minutes of play. Now he’s prospected as an early second-round pick and can go with the Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Lakers or Minnesota Timberwolves.

It is highly probable that Minnesota will just love to have this pick as they’re still unsure about Anthony Bennett and his ability to come back after two awful seasons in the NBA. If they pick Karl Anthnoy Towns with the first pick and Milutinov with their second round pick, they can feel comfortable enough to trade Nikola Pekovic as they will have 2 other hopeful big guys in the likes of Adreian Payne and Gorgui Dieng.
