Anthony Davis with a ridiculous game winner against the Oklahoma City Thunder

New Orleans Pelicans v Oklahoma City Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder and the New Orleans Pelicans are fighting for the last spot that leads to the playoffs in the Western Conference. Last night’s duel was of huge importance for both teams because the winner significantly increased his chances of grabbing that 8th spot that’s currently held by the Phoenix Suns.

In a thriller game with more lead changes than any other game of the night, the New Orleans Pelicans came on top thanks to an MVP performance by their young superstar Anthony Davis. He finished the game with 41 points/10 rebounds/2 blocks and a crazy game winner in the dying moments of the game.

Tyreke Evans was also brilliant recording a triple-double with 22 points/16 assists/10 rebounds. Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant combined for 75 points behind a huge performance from OKC’s point guard who finished the matchup with 48 points/11 assists/9 rebounds, but that hasn’t proved to be enough for the win.
