We all know that Kyrie Irving has some crazy handles, but we at Interbasket don’t just love Irving for his ability to bounce the ball, but respect him for his all-around skill set.

He just doesn’t have one of the stickiest hands in the league, but when he gets to the basket, he find a way to convert… and with difficulty. Not only that, but the 22-year old is already a very good shooter from both the mid-range and from distance. For the season, Irving is shooting 48% from the field, 42% from three, and 83% from the free throw line.

And all of his skills weres on display against the New York Knicks. It was a personal highlight reel for Kyrie Irving: three pointers, spin moves, pull ups, reverse layups, change of speed, change of direction, hesitation dribbles that froze defenders, mid-range jumpers, up and unders, floaters…. everything. EVERYTHING.

Just watch the video and shake your head. There’s more Kyrie highlights from this one game than most players put together in a couple seasons.

In that game, Irving scored a game-high 37 points, which is 41% of the Cav’s 90 points. Sure, the point guard had only two assists that game, but it was one of those games that without his efficient scoring, the Cavs probably wouldn’t have pulled out the tight three-point win over the hapless Knicks.

Irving may be young and is still learning, but even at his young age, his extraordinary skill set makes him one of the best among the best.
