Antawn Jamison is joining the other team in L.A., the Clippers.

The Los Angeles Clippers made a significant signing on Monday, as they acquired veteran forward Antawn Jamison. Jamison and the Clippers agreed to a one-year deal worth the veteran’s minimum. Jamison last played for the cross town rival Los Angeles Lakers.

With this move, the Clippers continued their offseason of improvement. They acquired head coach Doc Rivers, resigned Chris Paul, and have added other pieces such as Jared Dudley and J.J. Redick.

Jamison will look to be a solid contributor off the bench, and he is also a capable finisher down the line. His shooting ability will allow him to play alongside either Blake Griffin or DeAndre Jordan, or both potentially at the small forward spot.

For his career, Jamison is averaging 18.8 points and 7.6 rebounds per game.

How do you like the move of picking up Jamison by the Clippers? Give your opinion here in the Clippers forum.
