The 15 Best Toronto Raptors NBA Championship T-Shirts, Hats, Jerseys and Other NBA Finals Gear

In a hard fought Game 6 in Oracle Arena in Oakland, California, the Toronto Raptors won their first ever NBA Championship by defeating the NBA defending champions Golden State Warriors 114-110 on their home court.

The game was back and forth the entire game with Kyle Lowry and Pascal Siakam doing damage for the Raptors early and Klay Thompson keeping Golden State in the game with his timely shots.

The game took a dramatic turn, not a surprise considering all the story lines throughout the series, when Klay Thompson came down awkwardly as the Raptors’ Danny Green contested his shot. Thompson momentarily headed back into the tunnel before coming back into the game to shoot his free-throws to the cheers of the Oracle crowd. After that, Thompson left to be examined and wouldn’t return; leaving the arena on crutches as teammate Kevin Durant did the game prior.

The Raptors continued toughing out the game matching the Warriors shot for shot led by Fred VanVleets big shots, as the guard once again took advantage of the Warriors in pick and rolls. The tough-as-nails VanVleet truly made a name for himself in this series and after the game shouted out his hometown of Rockford, Illinois. Now the Raptors team will head back to The North to celebrate with their championship-starved Toronto fans that are awaiting their return.

Toronto Raptors 2019 NBA Championship Gear

In that time, the Toronto Raptors and their fans will bask in the glow wearing their NBA Championship hats and shits, popping champagne and celebrating in their locker room. No matter what happens after this season, fans will certainly always remember this year and will want to commemorate this season. The good memories I have of the Detroit Pistons winning their NBA championship can’t be relived, but some of the shirts, hats, jerseys and other merch I gobbled up as a fanboy during those seasons live on forever.

If you want some official Toronto Raptor championship memorabilia to forever remember the Raps’ championship season, we don’t blame you. We curated some of the best items below. If you’re interested in any of the below, click the image to go to NBAStore.ca (Canada) or go here for Toronto Raptors gear at NBAStore.com.

Toronto Raptors Caricature 2019 NBA Finals Champions T-Shirt (Heather Charcoal)

I love these Toronto Raptors roster caricature shirts for several reasons, but mostly because they best represent the time and place of the championship. No matter how successful a team is, the next season the roster always changes so the 2018-19 team is immortalized on this shirt and thus, makes it a must-have tee.

How the Toronto Raptors Won the 2019 NBA Finals

So how did the Raptors win the real NBA Championship trophy? Well, they played how they did all season — as a complete team and on both sides of the court with Leonard leading the way.

Given, Game 6 required a lot from the Raptors to overcome an emotionally-charged Golden State team playing at Oracle Arena for the last time EVER, with Durant and their dynasty on their minds, to ultimately defeat them on their on floor a fourth straight time.

The Raptors won by four in a game of free throws at he end of the game and Toronto needed every one of those points. Four Raptors lit up the boxscore and scored 20 or more points in order for the team to squeak out this win. Led by Siakam’s and Lowry’s 26 points, VanVleet and Kawhi Leonard (who was named Finals MVP) each added 22 points a piece and Serge Ibaka contributed 15 points off the bench. In short, the Warriors put up a valiant effort led by Thompson’s 30 points, but didn’t have enough firepower to take on the league’s best defensive team.

Congratulations goes out to the Toronto Raptors and the city of Toronto — they hit big shot after big shot —  this championship wasn’t given to them, it was earned and well-deserved.
