Lebron James once again topped the league’s official list of best-selling jerseys for the 2021-22 seasons. In April, the NBA and National Basketball Players Association put out a statement that the Los Angeles Laker superstar and GOAT’s #23 jersey beat out the Philadelphia 76er’s James Harden for the top spot on the NBA’s list of Most Popular Jersey. The Lakers also topped the list for the team that sold the most merchandise.
LeBron James Tops Jersey List Again
With the league’s most-popular jersey when it comes to sales, LeBron has now led the league in total jersey sales for a record eighth season. At age 37, LeBron hasn’t shown any major symptoms of his age. He averaged 30.3 points on 52.4% shooting from the field – that’s his highest PPG average in over 15 years!

At this point, the Point Forward is pretty much a lock to top the best-selling jerseys list for the next couple seasons, I’d be willing to put major money down at a 25 euro free no deposit casino that he tops the list again this next season.

|13||Devin Booker||#1||Phoenix Suns|
|14||LaMelo Ball||#2||Charlotte Hornets|
|15||Nikola Jokic||#15||Denver Nugget|
These latest numbers were tabulated off of sales from NBAStore.com for the second half of the 2021-22 regular season which ran from January 13 through April 10. Before anyone says anything James was also the top seller in the first half of the season, too. Right after LeBron in his latest count is Harden at #2, eventual champion and NBA Finals MVP Steph Curry at #3, mercurial Kevin Durant at #4 and Jayson Tatum’s #0 jersey rounded out the top five for the second half of the 2022 regular season.
With his eighth season leading the league in jersey sales, LeBron has the most seasons leading the league in this category surpassing Kobe Bryant’s six times leading the NBA. Keep in consideration that this is only since the NBA started tracking (and releasing) sales numbers in 2001 so in other words we don’t really have a sense of how many times Magic Johnson, Larry Bird and Michael Jordan led the league in jersey sales, but we’ve made some educated guesses which NBA player has the best selling jersey of all-time.
This is LeBron’s fourth consecutive season having the best-selling NBA jersey. With the Laker’s outlook this upcoming season not looking to successful, he’s going to have a tough time going for his fifth straight season. That coupled with the Golden State Warriors winning the 2022 NBA Championship and Steph Curry is often right behind LeBron in jersey sales (when healthy).
