LeBron James’ #6 Miami Heat jersey is NBA’s best seller of 2011

The NBA’s Top-Selling NBA Jerseys for 2011

In April 2011, the NBA announced the best selling jerseys since the beginning of the 2010-11 NBA season.

LeBron James took the mantle as the player that sold the most player jerseys for the season breaking Kobe Bryant’s two-season hold on the top spot. LeBron was right above Bryant who had to settle for #2. What’s significant about this year’s list of best sellers is that despite all the negative reactions that LeBron’s The Decision yielded in the summer of 2010, there was clearly enough fans to push The King to the top by the end of the season.

Surprisingly, Rajon Rondo sold enough jerseys to be at the number three spot as the first of four Boston Celtics in the top 15 including Ray Allen (#13), Paul Pierce (#14), and Kevin Garnett (#15).
