Atlanta Hawks unveil ‘Peach Tree’ City Edition jerseys from Nike for 2019-20

The Atlanta Hawks roster has changed significantly from last season. Over the summer they drafted Cam Reddish and brought in Jabari Parker Allen Crabbe, Evan Turner, and Damien Jones in support of Trae Young and John Collins. This season, the frachise will also have new uniforms too.

Earlier this week, Sarah K. Spencer of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution tweeted out that official sources have confirmed that the following Hawks jerseys are their new alternate City Edition uniforms for the 2019-20 season

Known as the “The Peach State,” Georgia came upon that nickname as their reputation for growing the nation’s (world’s?) highest quality peaches with superior flavor, texture, appearance and nutritious qualities.

According to, the new Peachtree jerseys will be accessorized with a corresponding custom court for home games. These home games will feature these new uniforms eleven times during the 2019-20 season at State Farm Arena. The dates for these “Peachtree Nights” can be found below:

  • November 20, 2019 vs. Milwaukee Bucks
  • December 02, 2019 vs. Golden State
  • December 04, 2019 vs.  Brooklyn Nets
  • December 15, 2019 vs. Los Angeles Lakers
  • January 18, 2019 vs.  Detroit Pistons
  • January 20, 2019 vs.  Toronto Raptors
  • January 22, 2019 vs. Los Angeles Clippers
  • February 20, 2019 vs. Miami Heat
  • February 22, 2019 vs.  Dallas Mavericks
  • March 31, 2019 vs. New Orleans Pelicans
  • April 07, 2019 vs. Detroit Pistons

“The Atlanta Hawks are paying homage to Atlanta culture with our new Nike City Edition unis,” said Melissa Proctor, the team’s EVP and Chief Marketing Officer “Peachtree symbolizes the streets that connect our neighborhoods, from Bankhead to Buckhead, from the West End to East Atlanta Village, and all throughout the metro Atlanta area.”

What do you think?

The Hawks have one of the league’s best throwbacks, so we’re happy to see another retro uniform being released.

We dig the new design though we’re not sure we like the contrast between the black and “peach” color. We’re betting that the team has an alternate version of this alternate City Edition jersey in a white base, which we think that color combination (with red trim) would be dope. We’d be down for a jersey that featured the actual peach tree in an interesting way. Until then, we’re not mad at these new Atlanta Hawk alternates. Remember these city editions in white/gold/black colorway from the 2018-19 season?

Hopefully these will be sold online sooner than later. Shop Atlanta Hawks jerseys at
