With the Los Angeles Lakers atop of the league standings while playing in the nation’s second most-populous city, it’s no surprise that LeBron James has the NBA’s best-selling jersey through the first three months of the NBA season.
This is according to jerseys purchased at NBAStore.com from October 2019 through December 2019 and officially released by the NBA.
It’s amazing that LeBron is not only playing at a high-level in his 17th NBA season, but leading his team to equal the storied franchise’s best starts to a season. The next generation isn’t far behind though as Milwaukee Buck’s Giannis Antetokounmpo (#2), Jayson Tatum ((#4) of the Boston Celtics and the Dallas Mavericks Luka Doncic (#6) have jumped up the list in jersey sales. Here’s the full list of the top fifteen jerseys sold.

If LeBron can stay on top of the list of most popular jerseys this season, he’ll tie Kobe Bryant at six for the most seasons with the top-selling NBA jersey. It certainly doesn’t look like LeBron is slowing down anytime soon, if he can continue his superstar level of play coupled with the Lakers team success, he may eventually challenge for the league’s most-popular jersey of all-time.
