Ever wonder what NBA players think about the team’s jersey style and designs? Well, during the 2020 NBA All-Star Weekend, Yahoo Sports took an informal poll of dozens of NBA players in order to see which jersey was the G.O.A.T. Coolest Jersey according to those that wear them.
No surprise that the favorite jerseys of this generation of NBA players were heavily in favor of the designs from the 1990’s seeing as many of today’s players grew up in that era. The players also leaned on the jerseys of the team they currently played on Whether they felt loyalty to the teams or actually liked their franchise’s jersey, we don’t know, but we think this is still a representative snapshot of what players think are the best-designed NBA jerseys of all-time.
And the Winner Is…
To be clear these are not the best-selling jerseys of all-time but in inexact survey of what NBA players think are the best jerseys. We just went through the video and tallied up the votes. Here are the top five “coolest” NBA jerseys

If you’ve paid attention to what fans think are the best NBA jerseys, then there won’t be many surprise answers in the polling.
It’s absolutely no surprise that the Toronto Raptors jersey from the 1990’s completely demolished the competition. The purple dinosaur jersey from Toronto that was made famous by Vince Carter, Damon Stodemire and Marcus Camby got the most votes; more than double the votes (16) than the second place jersey, the Vancouver Grizzlies (8). In third place is the Chicago Bulls pinstripe jerseys from the Michael Jordan era with six votes. And rounding out the list tied for fourth place with five votes each are the Charlotte “pinstripe” Hornets and Utah “mountain range” Jazz jerseys from the 1990’s.
