Champs Sports mistake leaks 2020 NBA All-Star jersey designs (and they look good!)

Do you remember the NBA All-Star jerseys from the last couple years? No? We wouldn’t blame you if you forgot as they weren’t that memorable at best, one-note and boring at worst. Fear not, for this year’s jersey designs for the 2020 All-Star Game appear to be brighter and more colorful than the snore fests of the 2018 and 2019.

That’s if a little mistake by the good folks at Champs Sports may have accidentally leaked what the 2020 All-Star jerseys will look like. Take a peep at this tweet that includes a screenshot after Champs Sports erroneously published out the purported uniforms online; giving us a glimpse of what the jerseys for the NBA All-Star Game will look like in Chicago.

On the front chest of the jersey has ALL-STAR wordmark across the chest, and right below that is a six-point star housing the NBA logo. The star is a nod to Chicago’s city flag where the game is being held this year and the six-point star is referenced on the Chicago Bull’s city edition jerseys. And you usually can’t go wrong with pinstripes accents which follows the recent revival of pinstriped jerseys like the throwback Hornets and Raptors designs. We support the pinstripe revolution!

All Star Starters Announced

The NBA All-Star starters have already been announced with the Western Conference starters being LeBron James and Anthony Davis of the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard, Houston Rockets guard James Harden and first time all-star Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks. In the East was led by Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics guard Kemba Walker, Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid as well as first time all-stars Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young and Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam
