  • FIBA Asia 2009 Officiating

What are your thoughts? Do you think the referees are gonna handle each game well this time? If you ask me, I think the officiating in international tournaments is the worst ever. They (the referees) are so unreliable often times.

Unfortunately the refereeing in Asia is still much worse than other parts of the World (We're definitely better than Africa though).

It's good that they brought some European referees even though I would have liked to see some world class ref. names as Romualdas Brazauskas (Lithuania), Nikolaos Pitsilkas (Greece), Eddie Rush (USA), Luigi Lamonica (Italy), Juan Arteaga (Spain) and Nikolaos Zavlanos (Greece).
