    Default 1/2 Argentina vs Spain

Well, who is going to the finals? Argentina or Spain. Greatest match-up ever in the World Championships! My prediction is that it will go down to the wire, a point or two points difference. My gut feeling for me is Spain will advance to the finals. Who is your winner & why?

I think Scola will not be able to stop Gasol..Spain will play a defencive system in order to eliminate Ginobili and winner will be the team which will manage to have control of the rebounds and make the less mistakes and personally i favour Spain as they are a much better defensive team than Argentina in this tournament

spain will probably win after overtime as their opponents are pressing untill the last second allthough they have less discipline

im going to go for spain, I mean calderon is really good in penetrating in and passing players becuase of his speed, and gasol is a really good shot blocker , and point scorer. SO spain for me , even though argentina has ginobli.

Until yesterday, I would have picked Argentina. But after I saw Spain against Lithuania, I'm not so sure anymore. They had an incredible defense that completely dominated Lithuania and Navarro and Calderon were relentless.

Argentina is still as good as ever but it looks to be very tight game. Good luck for both teams, they definitely deserve to be in the finals.

After great game against Lithuania, now is time to say "good bye" to Argentina ... I think that Spain without any problem beat they by +10-15 points

Spain is simply perfect, from all spots, not only having balanced roster, without holes, and great player in every position, but also has great team chemistry, great team play.. but so Argentina is.. Spain will win by 5 or less..

NTV Turkey and the German channel DSF,too.

Ok, that's the game we have all waited for. There can't be a closer game on the paper. Let's see how the game will develop. I think and hope that Argentina will win this one, whereas Spain deserves a win, too. This should be the final in my opinion

    Default 1/2: Argentina or Spain

Spain has owned them the last few times, but those games weren't elimination.

Spain has more talent upfront with Gasol, and a solid player in Garbajosa. Argentina probably has more talent at the swingmen positions (even though Navarro is a great guard). Calderon is superior to Sanchez overall.

Argentina has a more smooth passing attack. Spain has more matchup advantages.

Can Ginobili/Nocioni/Scola offset those disadvantages underneath and at the guard positions?

Who wins and why? Pick in the poll!

I would like it to be Spain, but Argentina will win by 6, after leading most of the time by a small number of points. simply Spain did not convince me in the LTU game (probably subjective).

not that Argentina is any better than Spain, though - it's just a prediction (and totally useless as such).
