Oh yes I think he can fit in a team like Mouttahed. I don't know what plans the team has for him, but he's definitely a quality player to come off the bench in any FLB team. Very strong presence inside, good shot blocking abillities, defense alert player and he's also a consistent scorer. If Mouttahed wants him to start, he will also be of great help of course. Contrary to what asia-basket states, he ended up not taking part in the All-Star game last season, because of injury I think...

And it looks like Joo Santos is heading to Porto. Quality signing that's for sure and a trick to Benfica

The old forum basketpt.com has been down but will be up soon according to the admins. Meanwhile http://basketpt.omeuforum.net/forum.htm is being used.

Default Playoff finals - game 1

Great playoff series with a classic between Benfica and Porto. In game 1 the Reds drew first blood with a 73-63 win over Porto.

    Porto 97 Benfica 101 (0-3) Boxscore
Benfica is one win away of retaining the title in a game that had 2 OTs.

Another easy year for them... Benfica back to its glory days. First back-to-back title since 1995. I do hope that they play in Europe next season, otherwise it will just seem they're wasting the best years.

Hope they can keep Frisby, and i hope Joo Santos doesn't leave for Porto!
Maybe they should get Portuguese Player that can do shoting guard\smal forward in case Joo Santos leaves, and get a foreign center!
