Hi, my real name is Laurynas, i'm from Lithuania (KAUNAS). I'm 23 years old and deeply into basketball since 11 maby. it's nice to discover such a forrum like this, because people here seems to be intelligent and international tone makes this forrum so alive. it's great to have opportunity to talk with fans of different countries and it makes 'basketball business' even more significant. Cheers!

            Greetings to all Bball lovers

            Hi to all,
I am Panos, Greek but work in Paris (mba, pharmacist). I am 31 and play bball since 1987. Have played in Greece (Athens-Salonica), France (Paris-Strasbourg) & USA (Philadelphia).
In the past I preferred watching NBA. Nowadays European League and NT events.
Although am AEK Athens' supporter, I personally enjoy watching and cheering for all teams that bring quality and promote bball.
this forum has attracted many people with deep knowledge for bball that gives a good insight of their supporting clubs and countries of origin.

                thx for the welcome

well yes, I am one of the few. It is said that all of us together fit in a single bus.
When the difficult era of skinny cows arrives many people abandon the ship. It is really sad what happens to the team nowadays.

Hopefully the beginning of the new start for AEK will come soon. Like in the late 60s when AEK was playing outdoors in Panathinaiko Stadium with 60.000 fans. Those days might come back......

                  hi everyone,

I'm 31 and I'm from Vilnius, Lithuania. Despite that fact I'm Zalgiris fan, always was, always will be... Started watching games at age of 7... Those famous Zalgiris-CSKA series back in the days, when Sabonis was 18-19.. Civilis was alive and kicking (rip)... and Jovaisa was still known not for his "comments" or coaching abilities (no offence, Sergejus...), but for his partying habits and defensive abilities.. Even though I'm a die hard Zalgiris fan, I'll root for any other lithuanian team, should it be Siauliai, Rytas, Neptunas or any other, while they play against foreign clubs (Go Real!... or TAU! We really want Rytas to be in EL next season!).

I like balanced kind of game. I love players who can create their own shots (Siskauskas, Stombergas, Anthony Parker, Spanoulis) and dislike the ones, that play out of their position (Papaloukas - almost PF playing as PG, Lavrinovic brothers - C/PF playing as SF, Ginevicius - playing basketball... )

I respect other people's opinions, so I expect others to respect mine too... and I do believe, that I have a right to change my opinion at any given point of time

I've been reading this forum for a 3-4 years now. I'm not a very active writer, but I'm a very active reader.
People don't come with instruction manuals, that's why to figure them out, you have to press their buttons...

Aloha everyone. French guy of 30 springs and already 5 autumns here

I am from Le Mans, a city from which Le Mans Sarthe Basket is historically one of the best french teams (won several championships in the 75ies-85ies and it was started in the 40ies) that just recovered a good status in french league in the past years.
Even though when someone speaks about Le Mans, it concerns generally racing and the 24 hours we still have a real basketball culture over there (it does not match baltic & ex yougo countries of course but it does exist).

Anyway, i am not especially fan of basketball (ouch eh, stop biting ) even less a basketball specialist/player like some may be but i am following my town's team since about 2 decades. And i do like good games and euroleague of course.

It's nice to be here and to see all the passion you all have for your teams and players, european basketball generally speaking. And i am looking forward to seeing le mans face the big challenge that yields into struggling against your armadas to advance into the EL competition.
