It was entertaining, but I didn't like the end that much.

From the latest flicks, I liked very much "Coraline" and "District 9". "Funny people" and "Public enemies" are good movies, also... I'm not professional movie critic, so don't judge my picks.

Arkadios, too many American films, though most of them are really good.

Too much good films to name, but the ones comes to my mind:

                  Romper Stomper
                  Little miss sunshine
                  The Edukators
                  Half Nelson
                  Shutter 2004
                  Braking the waves
                  Down of the dead 2004

Oh, and surely this Scandinavian pearl- Låt den rätte komma in
LTU NT will snatch Eurobasket 2029 title with this roster:

                  Indrusaitis, Brazdeikis, Rubstavicius
                  Buzelis, Lelevicius

The Shawshank Redemption is my absolute favorite movie of all time (there's a reason why it's #1 on IMDb's list of the greatest movies of all time). I also really enjoyed The Lord of the Rings trilogy.

IMDB have a huge number of members, and as such it conducts large surveys. As you can see for yourself, 450,588 was the number of votes in "The Shawshenk Redemption" survey. That's a huge sample... It can't be wrong.
