While Philippine media were following Bobby Parks Jr. journey to fulfill his dream in NBA, there's another Fil-Am Mikh McKinney who made some impressions in a pre-draft work-out. Though he was not drafted he had received positive feedbacks from no other than Sacramento Kings legend Vlade Divac...
As for McKinney, “Mikh is a great shooter,” Divac said. “He is doing very well, with those threes. He’s got to be a little bit stronger, but shooting wise, he’s ready.”
There are 4 Fil-Ams in current NBA Summer League namely Aaron Craft (Golden State Warriors), Stephen Holt (Atlanta Hawks), Ray Parks Jr. (Dallas Mavericks) and Jordan Clarkson (L.A. Lakers)...
Siyet. He's looking better and better each day. Hope he doesn't slip through our fingers like Christian David did. Nothing more frustrating than seeing the clock tick towards a prospect's 16th birthday and having it pass with nothing happening.
Aaron Craft starting for the Golden State Warriors and showing excellent defense and leadership (leads improptu huddles). Also got some praises from game commentators Isaiah Thomas and Dennis Scott, acknowledging his "defensive player of the year" award in the NBA DLeague. He looks like a better Dellavadova, and can flourish in the right NBA team situation.
