A highlight video of Demir Dogan. He is a point combo forward who is 6'9 and born in 2006 finished with 16,2 points, 9, 4 rebounds, 2,2 assists and 2,4 blocks.

He'll most likely finish growing at 7 foot (around 2,13) and can handle the ball like a guard. Great slasher who has a nice court vision. Rather too unselfish I would like to see him more as a finisher. He should have used around 20 balls.

With Jan Vide (Slovenia) and Declan Duru (Germandy) top 3 of the tournament and the most versatile guy.

    Demir Dogan (F | 206 cm | ‘06) ~ Turkey

    16.2 pts, 2FG-55.6%, 3FG-16.7%, FT-64.7%, 9.4 rebs, 2.2 ast, 1.4 stl, 3.2 to, 2.4 blks

Turkish wonderkid had a great tournament and was showing why he is one of the most talented players in the world in his generation. Really fluid for his size, athletic too and when his body fully develops he should look really nice. Versatile with great feel for the game and can play in many roles, inside or outside. He is a very good ball handler for his age and size and uses it well in transition. Struggled with his shot but has a good stroke for a player his age and it will just get better. Also showing some good potential on the defensive end and showed his fluidity and athleticism with some nice chasedown blocks.

Mike Schmitz about Demir Dogan on the ESPN - Website

    3. Demir Dogan | 6-8 | Forward | Turkey | Besiktas | 2006

The 15-year-old Dogan proved why he's considered one of the top prospects in all of Turkey with his play in Novi Sad, averaging 16.2 points, 9.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 2.4 blocks and 1.4 steals in 33.1 minutes while playing up a year. Dogan has clear physical upside standing close to 6-9 in shoes with big hands and feet, long arms, and a lean yet projectable frame that should fill out in time. Reminiscent of a young Aleksej Pokusevski physically (all arms and legs), Dogan figures to get to at least 6-10 or 6-11 by the time he reaches his physical peak.

As a player, Dogan is a Swiss-Army-knife prospect who does most of his damage at the four, either pushing aggressively in transition, playing out of the post or attacking closeouts with his long strides. He's a capable passer who also brings considerable intensity and versatility on the defensive end of the floor, rotating for blocks and making plays in the passing lanes thanks to his length and instincts. Dogan's clear swing skill is his shooting, as he knocked down just 3-of-18 3s in five games and could stand to fine-tune his mechanics. Should he continue to improve his shooting and passing, Dogan could evolve into a Deni Avdija-caliber prospect as a versatile forward who can push in transition, straight-line drive, facilitate and defend a few positions, even if he's not as good a facilitator as Avdija was at this stage. He'll have no shortage of opportunities to prove himself, as his club, Besiktas, is known for showcasing young prospects by allowing them to play big minutes at the pro level -- like we saw from Sengun.

Kentucky, Kansas and UCLA is after Bona.

Even before Dereck Lively II — the top-ranked frontcourt player in the 2022 class — announced his commitment to Duke over Kentucky on Monday night, Adem Bona had emerged as a major recruiting target for the Wildcats.

On Sunday, the eve of Lively’s decision, John Calipari was in California for his first in-person visit with Bona, who is also among the most highly rated big men in the 2022 class. He was already a priority UK target. Now that Lively is off the board, he’s clearly at the top of the wish list for Kentucky’s frontcourt of the future.

Bona — pushing 6-foot-11 with a 7-5 wingspan — is listed at No. 10 nationally by 247Sports, making him the third-highest-ranked frontcourt player in the class behind only Lively and fast-rising Arizona big man Yohan Traore.

A native of Nigeria who began his basketball career as a teenager in Turkey, the 18-year-old moved to the United States last year and is entering his second and final season for Prolific Prep (Calif.), a program that has produced several five-star prospects in recent years.

Billy McKnight led Prolific for its first four seasons (2015-19) and returned to the program this summer for his second stint as head coach. He coached against Bona last season, and he’s enjoying his time spent with the five-star big man in preparation for his senior year.

“He is a superior energy guy. Maybe his greatest skill and talent is how hard he plays,” McKnight told the Herald-Leader on Tuesday. “But then he’s also just a physical freak. I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to coach another guy like him again. He’s just an incredible runner, jumper — he’s just a physical specimen. And he finishes way above the rim, touches way up the backboard, way over the square.

“Defensively, he rebounds outside of his area. He blocks shots. He distracts shots all over the place. So he’s just an extremely physically gifted guy. But it’s not just his physical gifts. He plays so hard, and he brings such energy to the game. And that’s why he’s got places like Kentucky interested in him.”

247Sports analyst Travis Branham said that — while Bona still has ample room for improvement as an offensive player — he has the potential to have as big of an impact as Lively does as a college freshman from a defending and rebounding perspective.

Branham also told the Herald-Leader that Bona would be a good complement to the personnel that Kentucky expects to have next season. With offensively talented, perimeter-based players like Skyy Clark, Shaedon Sharpe and Chris Livingston coming in — and combo guard Cason Wallace expected to join in the near future — Bona wouldn’t have as much pressure to make an impact on the offensive end as that area of his game continues to progress.

McKnight said Bona has been working on aspects of his offensive skill set this offseason. The coach acknowledged that Bona sometimes plays too fast, so they’ve been working on slowing him down a little bit on that end of the floor.

According to this article Bona has a wingspan of 7'5 wingspan and 6'11 height. Giannis as a comparison has a wingspan of 7'3 with 6'11 height. His defensive impact will be amazing but his offense despite developing is still very restricted.

Mert Akay will stay with Dynamic for now. I was informed that he is not fully ready to play after his ACL torn 8 month ago. I dont think he will stay there the entire season but the most important thing is he getting his old shape again.

The Turkish progidy 2006 born Demir Dogan who finished the 2021 U16 tournament with 16 points and 10 rebounds will play in the Macedonian league for MZT Skopje alongside with the 2004 born center Samet Yigitoglu but not for the first but for the second team which plays with the first team in the same league. There are some controversals in the community.

Galatasaray NEF totally outclassed Nymburg. Sadik Emir Kabaca who averaged 17 points in the last two games couldnt score in this game but he was widely rock solid on the post defense and deflected many balls. Being born 2001 and with a height of 208 cm he has room for more 7-8 kg weight. I can imagine some EL teams chasing him after this season. He is still fairly clumsy though but also very nimble.
